Academy Security Training is allowing walk-ins for the Guard Card course. Classes start at 9:15am in the morning. Bring $60 and a valid photo ID like your driver's license.
After the class you need to complete Livescan fingerprinting and DOJ/FBI background check, and pay a fee of $50 to BSIS; so your total investment to get a guard card is $177, which is still one of the best values in Southern California.
